Dental Payment Plans

We have two types of Dental Plan to help budget for dental care with regular monthly payments. Please ask the dentist for more information.

Hursley Road Essentials Plan

Our ‘Essentials’ Plan has a fee of £23 a month


  • 2 Examinations with the Dentist per year
  • 2 standard Hygiene appointments per year
  • X-rays as clinically required
  • 10% off the cost of any treatment
  • Global Dental Assistance Scheme to help with cost of emergency treatment when away or out of hours


  • Specialist treatment required under referral
  • Prescription charges

Hursley Road Care Plan

Our ‘Care’ Plan requires an assessment by the dentist who will determine the plan category and monthly fee based on dental health and risk factors along with likely ongoing dental needs. You need to be ‘dentally fit’ to go onto this maintenance plan and the fee category can change after a reassessment as dental needs may vary over time. Our current fee categories start at £31.82 per month. All plan categories have the following inclusions and exclusions in addition to any specific exclusions agreed on an individual basis.


  • Examinations with Dentist as clinically necessary
  • Hygiene appointments as clinically necessary
  • X-rays as clinically necessary
  • Fillings as necessary
  • Extractions as necessary
  • Periodontal treatment
  • Preventive dental advice and therapy
  • Crowns, dentures and bridgework (excluding lab fees)
  • Root canal treatment
  • lobal Dental Assistance Scheme to help with cost of emergency treatment when away or out of hours


  • Treatments not specified as included
  • Referral to a specialist or specialist interest clinician which is necessary in the reasonable opinion of the dentist
  • Prescription charges
  • Laboratory costs for treatments requiring dental laboratory work
  • Any treatment which is considered cosmetic
  • Any treatment which is not clinically necessary in your dentist’s opinion

All plan fees will be collected by direct debit on the 1st of each month or shortly after.

The plan fee is subject to change at any time. The practice will endeavour to review plan fees once per annum and should the plan fee change, advance notice will be given by either post or email.

The plan may be cancelled at any time by informing the practice outside of any initial term.
